Who I think will finish in the top 4

We are 5 games into the premier league with Chelsea topping the table. Can they win the league? or will Arsenal finally win some silverware? Or can Man city keep their premier league trophy?  I am going to talk about the 4 clubs that I think will finish in the champions league places and how I think they will cope this season.

Manchester City

After 5 games in Man.c are sitting 7th in the league with 9 points. There latest game wasn't one of their best for them drawing 1-1 against a very good Arsenal side. You could argue that Man City should have scored more than 1, but maybe it just wasn't their day. For me I think that Mancini got his tactics wrong and shouldn't have put 3 at the back in their first couple of games, he did change his formation by putting 4 at the back against Arsenal but however their defence did look shaky. The next 2 games for Man City are Aston Villa and Fulham, for me they should be picking up maximum points against them, but Fulham do look very good at home however City do have the players to beat them.

Man City's star players Yaya Toure and Silva haven't had the best of starts but Toure did show what he was all about against Real Madrid putting in a fine performance, but wasn't at his best against Arsenal. When both players get back to their best then I think that Man City will start finding their feet again and should climb through the table.

Prediction- 2nd. Have they got the experience to win the league again?

Manchester United

Its been a good start for the red devils who are sitting pretty in 2nd place with 12 points. They won their last game against Liverpool 2-1 but their result did not match their performance. Liverpool fans could argue that they should have took at least a point against the reds. Robin Van Persie looks a great signing for Man utd, scoring 3 goals against Southampton. New addiditon Kagwa also looks good with his neat passing in the centre of the park. If Manchester United can keep up this good start then I think they could win the league this year, Sir Alex certinley knows how to win the league as they have already won it 19 times!

For me Nani has had a very slow start for the red devils and doesn't look like he is playing at his best, against Liverpool he didn't really look interested and was replaced by Paul Scholes as half time, can he get back to his best? With Wayne Rooney out, other strikers like Hernandez and Welbeck have the chance to impress Sir Alex, but surely they will get frustrated sitting on the bench when Rooney is back. Will one of them go out on loan in January? we will find out.

Prediction: 1st. They have the players and experience to win the league.

Frustrated?

Chelsea

Chelsea have started off in great form sitting top of the league but will it continue? They have made some great signings in the summer with Hazard and Oscar being their big signings. Their last game finished 1-0 to them, with Ashley Cole scoring. Hazard has been in fine form of late, his dazzling runs are to hard for the defenders to keep up with, I am backing him to get the most assists this season, if he is injured then he will be a big miss for them. Di Matteo had a great run whilst he was manager towards the end of the season, winning the Champions League. Now can he make Chelsea win the Premier League?

Torres has had a bad start so far this season and needs to find his shooting boots quickly, Chelsea need him as he is the most important striker they have. If he does get injured Chelsea may struggle to find goals and may have to rely on the midfield to get them. Chelsea look good this season but can consistency be the key for them to win the league? Have they got enough experience to win it? For me they have. Cole,Terry and Lampard are their most experienced players and can help the youngsters to win the league.

Prediction- 4th. Consistency is the only worry for them this season.

Arsenal

Arsenal are the underdogs this season, so far they are unbeaten and look very good. They drew their last match against the champions Man City and they should have won, they had more of the ball and created more of the chances. The defence has been much better this season only conceding 2 goals so far, the signings of Cazorla and Podolski has been a big hit with the fans making a big impact already. Wenger has said that Cazorla is like Fabregas by the way he plays. Wenger certinley knows how to win the league and I think they have a good chance as anyone else to win it. But do they need a real goal scorer to win it? someone like Robin Van Persie, only time will tell.

The likes of Theo Walcott and Chamberlain have been on the bench in recent matches which show how strong Arsenal squad is, remember they still have Jack Wilshere to come back so when he does their midfield will be even better. Like Chelsea can Arsenal keep up their great run or will they fade off towards the end of the season? For me they need a couple of more signings in January if they want to compete with Manchester united and Man City. Arsenals free flowing football has been a big hit with the fans, Diaby looks good since he has come back from injury and is Arsenals very own version of Yaya Toure.

Prediction- 3rd. They will fade away towards the end unless they sign a real goalscorer.
